Thankful & Blessed
My first time staying in town over the weekend and I went to church. I chose to attend a college Sunday School class with other people I had never met. Although I had contemplated just going to the service, I am glad I made the choice to go. We were handed an index card and asked to make a list of things that we were stressed about. The teacher told us to turn the card over and write what we are blessed with/ thankful for. She explained that our list of blessings are longer than the stressors of life. This week I heard some news that made my stomach turn upside down. I constantly caught myself constantly thinking about it. When the teacher started talking about being thankful and how to make the biggest blessings visible in the hardest times, I realized that I was meant to be in that class.
